October is a special month dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer. It's a time to show support for those who have been affected by this disease, whether they are survivors, currently battling it, or have lost loved ones to it. Breast Cancer Awareness Month serves as a reminder of the importance of early detection, education, and support for those impacted by breast cancer.

Why is Breast Cancer Awareness Month Important?

By highlighting breast cancer awareness during the month of October, it helps to educate people about the importance of early detection through regular screenings. The more awareness that is raised, the more likely individuals are to take proactive steps towards their breast health.

Chalonne’s team selected BCRF due to its singular focus on funding the world’s most promising research and brightest minds in science. Chalonne presented their business plan and design sketches to BCRF, and in alignment with Chalonne’s vision and story, BCRF agreed to a partnership.
